Where to go for the weekends with your Lover ?
Here we go Sao Miguel is one of the nine islands in the Azores and its fascinating place . Must to visit !
Planning your weekend's ?
Let's help you to choose places where to drink In Sao Miguel .
Whale Watching Bar
Address:Azor Hotel (7th Floor), Dr. João Bosco Mota Amaral 4, 9500-771 Ponta Delgada, Azores
You will return here twice to this only excellent bar in the Azor Hotel: the cocktails were creative, visually attractive, and flavorful.
Recommendations : the Perfume cocktail (seen below) was my favorite drink in São Miguel. Made with gin, lemon, roses, Azorean blackberry liquor, Angostura bitters, and egg white, it’s perfect for gin fizz lovers. Plus, at only 12 euro, it was the most expensive cocktail on the menu–quite a steal!
SO MANY AWESOME COCKTAILS, IT’S HARD TO CHOOSE JUST ONE !
The bartenders on duty graciously obliged my special request for an Edo Tóquio Margarita

"Localizado no sétimo piso, poderá desfrutar de uma grande variedade de bebidas e refeições ligeiras. Enquanto admira a mágnifica vista sobre o mar."
Tasquinha Vieira
Address: Rua António Joaquim Nunes da Silva 21, 9500-056 Ponta Delgada, Azores
But what drew us in initially was that Tasquinha Vieira makes their own in-house gin, which makes for some stellar gin and tonics to accompany your meal.

“... creative and delicious small plates.”“... of the islands in small plates.”“... in a beef broth, parrot fish, brais...”“Try the Fish escabeze and the beef ravi...”
This is a hidden gem with excellent cuisine. I was lucky to have a table without reservation, but it’s better to book. The menu is small but amazing. The tuna stake to die for, and try also curry mussels by chance. Highly recommended!
A Tasca
Address:R. do Aljube 16, 9500-018 Ponta Delgada, Azores
We loved that A Tasca was affordable: our meal for two cost only 58.50 euro. We had to do a double take before paying our bill, considering that we ordered:
Two delicious appetizers (bruschetta de vitela and shrimp);
Two filling entrees: one fresh tuna, one octopus;
A bottle of wine (a whole bottle of excellent Portuguese wine for 12 euro!);
An extra glass of wine (2.5 euro), because we couldn’t get enough Portuguese wine; and
Two desserts: cheese cake framboesa and baba de camelo.
Reviews Google :
""This place was highly recommended to me as a traveler. Got several menu items, octopus salad shown. A little bit of a wait, but staff were professional and fun. Food was interesting and had a lot of flavor. Prices were good."
"The place is beautiful and staff are super friendly and they make sure you have a good time. The food is very good... I normally don't eat morcila but the one with pinaple was very good.
They serve craft beer and which I enjoyed as well. The one thing that slightly bothered us was the rice with duck which the menu said is "risotto like" but it was just fried rice dish"
Where to Eat and Drink in São Miguel:
Of course, if you’re visiting São Miguel, you won’t be spending all of your time in Ponta Delgada. Here’s a few food and drink-related places you’ll want to check out outside of the Azorean capital.

Fresh fish in a lovely location. Great corner where you can enjoy nice food even feeling the waves next to you. Great view and very well organized staff.
There is a salad buffet where you can choose the ingredients of your side salad coming with the fish. We loved it
Vamos voltar, Açores!
